Default upgraded clamps for lt install

installing ps lt's w/ory next week... i understand the clamps suck so i was looking into ordering some better ones. will these @ jegs do the trick? also, i need 4...right?

Yes, that's the tortite clamp, it's the best clamp money can buy.

The problem is that on the driver's side collector, the 02 sensor is in the way and you can't use a band clamp there cause of that. It may be possible to cut a notch in the clamp to clear the bung, but it would take so much meat out of the clamp I don't think it would seal anymore. You will see first hand when you get the headers in hand. Therefore, there's really no choice other than to weld on flanges, than to use an accuseal clamp or the Pacesetter U bolt and crimp down the OD pipe on the collector. This will seal it but you'll never get the pipe off again without cutting it out.

i welded some v-bands on the ends of the PS LT's i have for my truck, i have the ORY also but will be putting in some High Flow cats to keep things legal.

I can get you some pics when i back home next weekend if you like.

Those are the clamps that I used and I've had no probs with them. I've removed them and reinstalled them a couple of times with no problems, I say get em.

You can also wrap the pipe with some aluminum foil to assure that you get a perfect seal. This is a cool trick I learned from another member off here.
