Default Took the luxury out of cadillac today.

finished install a set of dynatech headers on our 6.0 S/C escalade. Besides breaking a 10mm rachet wrench all went well. So here is the thing a 60k luxury suv should not sound like this........ but it is way cool with open headers. April 16th I will have video up, and sound clips as we are going to the track for a FUN race with our local friend Livernois. To run there TURBO escalade.
I think the race is more in our favor, as we have more mods done than they do. It would have been great to race when the Procharger was first installed, the truck ran 14.16. We have more done now than just headers.
I'm not here trying to start a pissing match between turbo, and S/C. or between us, and them. But the full size suv market is going to a whole new level it looks like, and want to inform everyone of whats going on. I have installed a couple of these prochargers so far, and everyone is really happy.

Thanks
Jamie

I have a feeling that the full size SUV market is indeed going to a whole new level- underground. While this sounds like a cool project, $4. a gallon for gas is not going to be good for this industry.

Agreed

Its kinda sad, just when factory truck performance was getting really good we have another 1970's style gas crunch to kill the whole thing. Such as the fate of the classic muscle cars.

Well I know this truck isn't my customers daily driver, and he doesn't mind much what gas cost. Granted he might not drive it as much as he once did because of the higher prices, but he's not going to sell it, because gas is high.
