timing chain questions?

changing out the oil pump can be a PITA, and then again it might not be..
took me 3 tries to get that damn o ring, and screw in right

Yes that oil pump can be a bit of a pain to fenagle loos. The pickup tube is what makes it hard. YOu can go moving it around a bit but you have to be careful not to break it loose from the mount at the windage tray. But it will come off, just gotta toy with it a bit. Get a new o-ring for the pickup too. I have the part number I will look up. Just soak it with oil before you put it on the pickup and then back into the oil pump. MIND THE TQ SPECS!!! I think it was like 16 or 22 inch/lbs of torque. You do not want to strip the oil pump body.

Ok well I hope that its not too bad. I want to have this done in about a day and a half. Is there any tips to this one?
