Ahh I know now. That's an early DBW harness from a DBW car.

I forgot the Blue/green is 2003+. So because that is red/blue and DBW it's from like a corvette with DBW. That TAC module box is also an early one and different from the 2003+.

So you're kinda screwed if you want to use the 2004 engine with all those sensors and DBW.

Looks like a truck harness to me, but I would need to see the fuse block connector to tell. I have seen DBW 5.3 and 6.0L Suburbans as early as 2001. Also all the 8.1s from 2001 were DBW even in the Express vans. The 2002 Express van I have an 8.1 from used the TAC module pictured and a Vette style throttle body and a 6.5 Diesel GMT400 style pedal.

Just noticed the trans connector looks like something that came with a 4L80E too.

I have a HPT file for a 2001 6.0L/4L80E 3/4 2wd Suburban that came from the factory DBW.

Eh, either way it's an early DBW harness that won't work if he has 2004 parts.

Yeah I just picked up another harness yesterday from junkyard. It was out of a 03 suburban, had green/blue pcm so it should work. Now I guess I'll be posting the other harness for sale. Don't know what to sell it as though, the guy from ls1tech reassured me it was from a 2004 escalade

You may be able to pull part numbers off the pedal assembly to see what it came from. I believe a early truck uses a different pedal than a corvette just because of the the size of the vehicles.

That is not a 2004 harness

It's a 99-02 for drive by wire application. The SUVs and a few trucks had a ride control system that used drive by wire. Everything else was cable driven. I had a customer with a 2000 Tahoe that had that system on it. It's completely different from 03-05 and 06-07 classic drive by wire stuff.
