AC draw pretty much no HP if its not on, it's free spinning, basically like tuning an idler pulley.

The a/c pulley free spinning has almost no drag. If you made a run with it on and then one with it off you may see an increase but it won't be from the belt being removed. It will be from the loss in weight due to burning 2 quarts of gas making a pass and coming back down the return road.

If you don't belive me, pull the belt and give the pully a spin. That will be how much drag there is on the motor, even is the AC is turned on, cuz the pcm unlocks the AC cluch at WOT no matter what.

yea I didn't notice anything with mine removed. My belt was cracked when I did the cam swap so I just left it off, but I will put it back on when I put in my new motor.
