Cool TBSS intake, retune a must???

I am to the point where this thing is either going to get put on or its getting sold.. So with that said, can I put this on, drive the truck untill I get a retune, or is it a must as soon as it goes on?? Thanks for any info..

Damn your slow.. I had a extra PCM for mine, that I sent off before the swap. Then went for a live tune later.

I ran mine for a while with no problems what so ever, but a buddy did the swap and he had to retune it since it wasn't running to well.

John, it'll definitely run w/o tuning, I do think the trims will be off and for optimum efficiency and power a tune will be needed.

put it on. not necessary to retune. I added a slight amount of fuel, but wasn't anything to keep it from blowing up. Might not even need a retune..who knows.

I wouldn't get into the throttle without a re-tune once you put it on. If your tune is on the ragged edge with timing or fueling, it'll knock. Out of boost the fuel trims should take care of it, though.
