swapped from SLP to magnaflow
#11
I am thinking that my 22" may be burning out on the inside and that's why it is so loud. It's probably 3 years old.

Yeah, that doesn't help in the cab. But even outside, at WOT it sounds like straight pipes. Wheatley and I were scooting around last night while he dialed in E85, you would have thought a Sprint Cup car was barreling down the feeder (and obeying all posted speed limits). It even scared two pedestrians a block away.

AP, if you wanted louder, you should have went with the Magnaflow Race Series muffler like I have on my truck now. I got the 5x8x6" long body, would have to look up the part #, but its 3" in/out. I made the swap from the SLP resonator to the magnaflow and never looked back.
The magnaflow is fairly quiet @ idle(compared to the SLP), but WOT screams like a banshee. Mind you this is on my truck w/ stock manifolds and cats.
