It was a simple study to show that the kit can indeed make good power smart ***.........

No one ever said it was the best, but so far it is the cheapest and most likely to get a CARB #.

At least the lag bashers are being quieted down on the STS kit.
I would much rather swap out my muffler than exhaust manifolds for the type of gains seen. Good thread, more reasons to seriously consider the STS system.
BTW Justin, someone dynoed a Hemi kit with IC, 8 psi, and got 416 rwhp and 436 rwtq ( stock 265/300 )! Damn, where the heck is the kit?!? I want my STS....

i haven't seen much problem with STS vehicles making good power on the dyno, they just don't seem to reflect that at the track.

I still fail to see where my #s are not good at the track Zippy. Not trying to argue with you but you have said that a couple times.

Do you feel my times are not good for the mods done?

110mph at 5250lbs is pretty decent for 14.5psi I would think.

What do you feel I should be running?

Like I said, I'm not annoyed and I generally respect your opinion so I am just curious

I see no reason for scrutiny. The STS made the same HP and more torque as an ATI with 1 less psi and a smaller cam. All at a lower rpm.

thats the problem. ANY turbo SHOULD make more power than a supercharger, it should blow it out of the water.....the STS isnt even able to match the supercharger for power.....thats lame. like i said. compare the STS to a real, underhood turbo system, using the same size turbo and IC, and see what happens. then these guys might realize that the STS isnt a gift from Allah.

i probably should have pointed out first that my comment is in no way directed at your truck. my point is that there is a considerable amount of fussing with to make the STS kits work on anything other than a dyno. there are however a handfull of them out there that the owners have worked with it and customized their custom kit to make it work how it should have in the first place. your truck runs very well and you have put much effort into making it work. on the other hand, as you probably know what i'm trying to say is that most that have bought the STS kit talk about the seat of the pants feel and the dyno numbers, but can't seem to lay down any good passes at the strip. on top of that most that do get a good pass, have time slips that are all over the board which usually includes running meth injection. to me if i have to add an extra fuel, it's going to be in a highly pressurized bottle that comes out very cold when you open the valve.... your truck is outstanding though and you have reason to be proud of your numbers. now if the other STS guys can have the same or similar success it would get a better name. you're cool with me F8L...
