it's alright... i know another site where you'd really get blasted mainly because you ain't done a V8 swap with a turbo yet

 

Haha well I wish I could just go ahead and do a V8 swap but a lack of funds kinda stops that idea for the moment. I start work tomorrow in the service dept. at a chevy dealer so ill see where that takes me. For the moment though, I am just toying with what I have and having the loudest truck at school is pretty fun.

 

yeah, well one thing the years have taught me is that loud can get you into trouble... like getting pulled over for normal part-throttle cruising making a passing cop do a u turn & pull me over just for making "too much noise"

then again, having a friend tell me he recognized my car from 1/2mi away when i did a WOT pull with the cutouts open on the LS1... that was fun!

 

I know I could get in trouble for it but cops dont really seem to care how loud your truck is where I live. I cruised by a county sherriff a few days ago and he smiled and waved at me.
