Yeah man, Im saying the same exact thing. I finally got my truck running, and put down good power. First after having to track down a 6.0, going to get it, getting a ticket on the way, and then the whole camming and swap process. Then I see people making a lot more power with a 4.8. For close to the same money i spent. That came stock in the silverado I bought.

That being said, that last setup you had was pretty fkn bad. The only regret I'd have about building that one is selling it. Just something about a big cube engine with a big cam.

Cool. Definitely interested in what gains you see. No doubt they are going to be huge over the 78mm. I'm still trying to decide on the n/a vs. fi thing.

I'm still wondering why I didn't just do a turbo kit look at FOOSE04 with a 4.8 running deep in the 10s almost 9s

I've been all hot and horny over turbo kits lately too... power per dollar is unreal...

Tell me about it for what I have in my setup I could have bought a turbo kit and made 4 times the power im making now wtf

It aint too late!!! lol I bet those heads would make great power with boost... trick is trying to lower compression a little. I wonder how much LS9 gaskets would lower it?
