Between the current exhaust limiting the power, the stock intake, and the fact that you were shut down at 6k... you have a TON of power left on the table. You'll dyno at over 450 for sure. I have the 1 7/8" headers on my truck, and granted I never had the 1 3/4" headers, but I can tell you over the stock exhaust there was no loss down low. Your tune plays a pretty huge role in that though. another thing to think about... between the 4.56 gears, and the 3600 stall you will very rarely be below 2000 RPM while cruising where you need a ton of roll on power. I say screw it and go big or go home. If you ever add anything else to the mix the 7/8 - 2" will really allow you to grow more freely.

With the combo of the stall, a cam on the small side, and very low gears; I'd be more worried about too much down low compared to lack there of.

I'd get the fast on there and see what it does before blowing a wad of cash on bigger headers. I'm not sure you'd see enough gain for your money going with bigger primaries on a stock cube engine.

Jmo, if you do go with a bigger set, 1-7/8 kooks...

1 3/4" primary is too big to even for a stepped application. The best example I've seen was on a Gen I 383, and it was 1 1/2" to 1 5/8". They were done at 5500 rpm anyway, but it did make 501 ft/lb or TQ @ 3800 rpm and 440 TQ @ 2400 rpm.
