Stepped headers or non stepped
 
Well I'm looking at getting some more power out of my heads cam 6.0L debating on getting the TSP 1-7/8 f-body headers or the kooks stepped 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 f-body headers. I'd like to get some more torque out of it and I'm leaning towards the stepped headers let me hear what you guys think.

I have the tsp 1 7/8 and love them and I would get them u won't lose anything and if u do be a horse or 2

I just don't wanta loose any TQ that's why I'm leaning towards the stepped ones

Dyno before & after, and sell the ones that lose on the dyno. :)

Might help with suggestions if you mention your setup. I see your truck on here all the time, and it looks great! Sounds great too, but I have no idea what your setup is, or how hard it runs(1/4 times?).

id love to buy both sets and dyno them but don't wanta spend that type of money to do it. heres my setup BTW truck put down 390RWHP 370RWTQ the tuner only pulled it to 6k for safety reasons and i haven't run the truck at the track yet.

6.0 LQ4 11.1 compression
ADVANCED INDUCTION 243s

EDIT: The more I think about it, I'd bet that the Kooks headers will make more power than the TSP's either way. So if those are the only 2 choices, then I'd say pick the Kooks.

Why would a 1 3/4 stepped to a 17/8 make more power VS a header that already has 17/8 tubes all the way to the collector?
