Default Starter for a 4l80 swap in SSS

Hello guys and gals need some help with a part number for a starter for my lq9 I swap a 4l80 in to replace my 65 and I went to prime my motor today and the starter wouldnt reach my flex plate bc of the spacer they told me I needed to go in between my crank and flex plate. Do I need the spacer? And if so does someone have a part number for the starter I need? Thanks

I did this same swap on my SS. What flex plate, stock or aftermarket? I used the tci flex plate and I got a 4l80 converter from precision industries.

How far did you pull your converter out of the transmission pump when bolting it up to the flex plate?

If youre using an actual 4l80 converter and not one of the adaptor converter you need the adaptor! What did you get the flex plate from???

To move the flexplate back to mate it to the 4l80 converter, which is the same for older sbc as well as the ls engines....
