man that sucks to see! i just did an SDPC HT1 swap in a buddys truck with ls6 springs and i did the trunion upgrade for him and its real simple to do. let me know if u have any questions on how to do it..pretty sure springs were PAC1218s. hope the pistons are ok with that dropped valve

I got the 5.3 out and the valve was bent (duh) the piston was not as beat up as I thought and it did not touch the cylinder wall. . It did crack the valve guide. So new valve,valve guide, seal,spring and small parts and it would be good as new. I guys shouting it off as soon as it happen did work out for the best. so the 5.3 and heads will be on market before to much longer.

Yeah, that was about the worst of it. It was not as bad as I thought but a good reason to build something different.
