Yeah me too!!
The rockers on my one of my trucks are still the factory rockers it was built with, they have been on 3 different engines and have 309K miles

They were pac somethings, can't remember the numbers right now

Haha. I understand. For sure looks like a rocker arm failure. Let's be sure and do a Comp trunion upgrade kit while we are in there.

Let me know what it looks like when you pull the head off. I bet that valve is done for. We can replace broken parts and do some upgrades pretty cheap if you need to get it running ASAP.

I've never seen a spring come apart like that and not have the spring be the main culprit in the breakage...

Looks like rocker came apart, moved over slightly, compressed on retainer, destroyed spring. You can see the cups for the rocker trunion and needle bearings. I could be wrong, but I'm leaning towards rocker failure.

Yeah valve is on top of piston. I think it was rocker then spring. Kinda sucks but neat to see.
