Default The spring,sprung

I was head home from work yesterday and heard a swoosh of air the something that sounded like marbles is my engine. I hit it in neutral and I hit the E-lane with-in 50 yards and shut her down. waited for a tow truck for 20 minutes. got home and found this.

ouch that sucks to see.

stock springs? just normal cruising?

time for an upgrade!

pac springs/ normal hwy driving, 65mph @ 2400rpms under light throttle. I was down town Atlanta GA. just cruising home.

I might have. There is needle bearings and chunks of springs everywhere.

The SDPC HT1 cam 214/218 .559/.562 111 1.7 ratio. It has been in about a yr with no problems.

Not "might", that's a darn guarantee. I can see a dead rocker arm in the picture LOL. Since the arm most likely died first, I can see the spring getting the crap beat out of it off center.

Thats crazy...think im going to do a trunion kit with my new engine.

your probably correct, ether way it sounded pretty wild.
