Was your truck more or less stock when you got it? Did it know only during WOT or at part throttle as well? What kind of tuning (how agressive) did you go with?
It was stock when I ordered the tune, but had him tune for LTs, CAI, no cats, and remove TQ management on the TOW/HAUL mode.

I have had nothing but trouble with check engine lights ever since day 1. He told me to get a crankshaft relearn, so I did and couple days later the light is back on. He forgot to turn off the rear 02s. I send it back and put the new pcm on and after a lil bit, another engine light. I have it checked and it says something about bank 1 or 2 out of performance range? rear 02s are still on

DTC P2101 is what I am currently working on

Things to consider----------
gear ratio
Converter-stock or a higher stall
Converter-locked or unlocked
type of transmission-auto or manual
2wd or 4wd
extra cab or reg. cab
Tire size
Wheel size
Type of dyno
Also, 20-25% would be a more accurate driveline loss percentage on a truck.
Cars tend to be less.

wheel size, tire size, cab size - none of those are going to make noteable difference.

Out2win, I know what your talkin about. I wish I never wasted the money on the mail order. For some people it may be a nice cheap way to get some power and make your computer sloppy. I went to get it dyno tuned and he spent the majority of the time cleaning up the mail order tune because everything was so off and maxed out. I would rather spend the extra $100-$200 and get closer to perfection, just my opinion though, everyones different..

wheel and tire size will make a noticeable difference in power on the dyno. a guy at the dyno i go to dynoed his lightning with stock wheels in the morning then went and got 20's put on and dynoed right after and lost 20 horsepower. and i have heard 15-18% loss in cars and 18-25% in trucks, depending on 2WD or 4WD

My Lq9 in sig only put down 320 Hp and 330 TQ with everything in sig. I still have to have the tuning finished up due to a bad o2 sensor at the time. My only guess for the low numbers were the unfinished tuning, single out flowmaster and 20 inch rims from hell, I have also added 3.73 posi since then. I really dont think people should really take dyno numbers too seriously, its just a tuning tool, and any thing and everything will effect the numbers. I say if it runs good at the track, thats all that counts

Thats pretty, almost too crazy to believe.

even if it put down 400rwhp, thats 5% loss by going 17 to 20 :wtf:
