something weird I'm noticing about dyno charts

did you bother to look at how much under the curve power the first example has over the second? look at how in the first example his powerband is pretty much through 85% of the RPM range...in the second his is more of a peak power thing...those trucks should run 2 completely different time slips

Yeah...Most of the guys that aren't big money making dyno shops say that alot of dyno places lie. I mean when you get your truck dyno'd what do you want to see?...Big Numbers! So they give you big numbers and it keeps you comin back for more. I personally would rather have acurate real numbers. But its the numbers at the track and the races you win that matters!

if its a dyno jet its going to read high numbers..evey dyno read different numbers..we had a guy the other day dyno his car on a portable dyno..330 rwhp and then he dyno'd on our mustang dyno.228 rwhp..alot has to do with dynos..you want high numbers..dyno jet. want accurate numbers...mustang dyno

I know dyno jets read high numbers, which is why the majority of dyno shops have them and which is why the majority of customers seek them out, for the high numbers. The dyno I was on was a Mainline DynoLog 2WD1000.
