some pics of GM's 3 Valve heads
#3
That can't be a working model.
I see a couple of serious problems.
The pushrod for the exhaust valve is plain scary and it appears 1 pushrod controls two valves. That's alot of pressure.
I am not sure but it also appears that the rocker assembly IS separated per cylinder, but the valves in each chamber open at the same time (exhaust and Intake)
Is this for real, or just "eye-candy"
More info pleaseeeee......

These pictures were in the internal engine section here a long time ago. It was a design test engine and was made as a truck setup.
Anyway, I think that setup was said to have been tested up to 8000 rpm with no problems.
Here is a thread with some stuff about it. Don't mind the LS2 reference, it is NOT a LS2.

Here is the thread with the pictures in it. The engine is NOT a LS6 like mentioned at one point in this thread.

This is not true, look, both exhaust valves are on the same side and the intake is on the opposite, and who cares if one pushrod opens 2 valves as long as the lifters, and pushrods are capable. We change out stock springs for aftermarkets that have over twice the tension, no difference here.
