and i made 441 with less cubes and a weaker head. the exhaust is a choke point.

What size were you running at the time? Was your cr ~11.0?

yeah 11.0:1 compression. went from pacesetters with single 3" exhaust through a cutout to kooks 1 7/8 stepped 2" with true dual 3" exhaust through mufflers.

in this dyno graph, changes were the new exhaust and LS6 manifold to Fast 90 manifold. everyone figured i would lose bigtime down low with this combo of parts, but gain big up top. it was actually the exact opposite.

I am with stewart on this one....both. at one point or the other you will need both. If you do heads, you will need more header, and make it at least a 64cc head. compression is fun. I also think you can do better than PRC heads IMO. A cheap set of 243/799 stock heads with LS6 valves, and get the TSP 1 7/8 headers with any cam of your choice, and you should make 400+. And cheaper than a set of PRC heads.

I vote for a set of heads for the biggest gain since your just stepping up from one set of LT's to a bigger set. If you had stock manifolds on there than I would say headers.

This is what i am thinking. Get the heads and then get the bigger lt's later.

I'm gonna say better headers and exhaust first also. I just don't see any point in going to better heads, without going to VERY VERY GOOD heads. At that point, the headers you have will not be good enough, and they will be choking your engine.
