Look at Stewart's dyno, he didn't lose anything down low. He actually gained a lot.

I'd do exhaust first, excessive backpressure in the exhaust limits overall timing you can run. Either way you won't be taking full advantage of your combo til its all there so I suppose it doesn't really matter.

The 5.3 heads have too small of a combustion chamber, you would have close to 12:1 CR with a .04 hg. Id do the 243s with a .04 hg to have the best quench possible too.

I'd just work back to front(exhaust, heads, fast intake)

I wasn't all that impressed with the as cast darts I ran but mine were off the first production run in 05. The cnc darts are substantially more expensive than the prc heads he is looking at.

Corey, give Richard at WCCH a call.

I want to stick with TSP for my parts. They are sponsors and they actually post (imagine that!!!) and help out members (imagine that as well!!!). Plus they are located in TEXAS!!!

I have dealt with them in the past and I had no issues at all. I like to stick with someone/something that i am familiar with, at customer service is a big thing for me as well...

Y not look into a l92 heads and cam combo?
They have showed some awesome power and flow stock.
My vote goes to tsp headers and new exhaust first.

and notice my peak power. it did not change going from pacesetters to kooks and ls6 to ported fast 90. everyone on tech preaches that you need to spin to 7k with big exhaust and intake. my graph says otherwise. i do think my heads were my limiting factor at that dyno though. and cubes lol.

Ya building a new exhaust system would be alot of fun. I love doing exhaust plus i would have a cutout again.

I dunno, i have a business trip coming up next week so i will have plenty of time todo research and price comparisons.

Ya but since he alrdy has the 4 bolt tb and rails, he could probably just get a bare l92 intake for cheap. It was just an option I was thinkin bout.
