Default Should I get higher gears w/ stall?

Sorry guys, another gear/stall question. Right now I have the stock limited-slip w/ 3.42s. I plan on a Yank TT 2600 stall. Should I just beef-up my rear-end by putting in an eaton and leave the 3.42s? OR, get higher gears (3.90 or 4.10s) and the stall?

If I get higher gears w/ the 2600 stall, will that help out 3rd gear? Right now 3rd gear sucks. After tuning I will be shifting at 5900-6000. I want to be able to pull hard to at least 80-85, from a roll or complete stop. What do ya'll think?

I am running 4:10's with my 2600 stall and it is lots of fun!

Change the gear when you install the Eaton 4.10s will help you a lot in 3rd gear.I would also pop for the Yank 3000 instead of the 2600.I have the 3000 in my Tahoe 1.80 60ft times with great street manners and full towing capability.

The 1.80 60', is that with drag radials? My last 60' was 2.35 (before headers, cam, and whats to come), what do ya'll think it would be with either the 2600 or 3000?

That's with Drag Radials,I did 2.00 on my street tires.I'm expecting better 60ft times because those times were made with a G80 that soon after expired.

I've made up my mind about gears. I'll get the Eaton w/ 4.10s. I don't know about the 3000 stall yet. I know for sure I'll at least get the 2600.

Anybody else?
