I'd ask the man that just responded with Gator sucks...BlownChevy. I never actually knew the stock size, I lost mine on the road and it was damaged. By trying to measure I figured it was 111.5 or 112, but really don't know. I don't have gator on mine. Just a NAPA belt. No dust.

So what do you recommend instead? And do you know the stock length?

The stock belt (RADIX) size can be found on the sticker with the belt routing on it. If you do not have the sticker the size is# Gates K061120. Any competent auto parts store can cross reference the belts, and give the next size down.

I would not use the Gatorback if it was the last belt on earth.....Again, this is my opinion.....you can do as you choose. There is a reason the Gates is the belt we supply

Appreciate your input/opinion, I know it is the result of experience. So what about all the belt dust I noticed when I did my cam install? Is this normal?

And what do you recommed as far as smaller belts when going smaller on pulleys?

Of course being from the Manufacture I can not recommend placing a smaller pulley on your supercharger system I would say that a 3.4 to a 3.2 would not require a new belt, the tensioner should suck most of that up. Smaller than that will require some test fitting.

The dust is normal, you will find it around most accessories like the alt. too.

I have used a Gatorback on my Radix for the last 29K miles, no problems. And the Lightning guys seem to like them. What kind of problems have you seen with them?
