Default SBRC SS

Hey guys whats up with all this stuff Im hearing on the sbrc ss. I knew it was around the net but now I was reading one of my friends mags and there was a article on it! If this thing really does come out like the article said mid 04 i will be putting my 02 on the chopping block. They listed the price at 23,000!!! The one thing it did say that I didnt like was chevy was not for sure if it was gonna have a M6 like the project veichle. If they deside to put a 4L60E in that truck you can for get it! Another down fall the article menchioned that it would probably only have a the 6.0 that is in the Esclade 345hp not the engine they had in the test truck 395 rwhp. Anyone heard anything different??

If they do come out with it, don't believe that 23k list. If the ext cab is pushing 40, the reg cab will surly be pushing 30k even if the don't go all wheel drive.

Dude, don't get your hopes up, this is GM that we are dealing with.

Remember this SS concept?

It had 480hp, 6-speed, RWD, IRS, headers, etc.

Look what we ended up with...

The truck is on the Hot Rod Power Tour. The SS has rubber floor mats,a bench seat and a 6spd manual gearbox. The guys driving the SS on the Power Tour said the truck was really quick but there was no way Chevrolet was going to build the truck in that form.Check it out at the Power Tour in dallas on the 6th.

If I didn't already have a toy and liked the new front ends I would buy another base, like in 99 and trick the crap out of it. That way it is unique and every one else doesn't have one. I have already seen about half a dozen SS mostly black, a few blue and one red.
If a person doesn't know what products work after reading a few posts here, ther's something wrong.

My truck is WELL over half payed off and Ive only had it for two years. If I want a SS SBRC Ill just build it my self. Remeber the target mark is to beat an L for cheaper.
