Honestly I was speaking for more stock to bolt-on type of engines, what kinda track times do you see with that combo, sounds nasty... What size header primary are you running?

thats what i run. probably not the best hp set up, but damn it sounds good. not much loss down low, just don't use 3" pipe use 2 1/2". if you worry about low end loss use
2 1/4" pipe.

Just a single muffler turned down still sounds great with the lt's and no cat. You could split it after the y-pipe and put a second muffler on but IMO you'd just be adding restricion with the second muffler.

Just go 2 1/2 if you got full bolt ons and and I think that would be a good set-up.. Gonna go with a X pipe correct?

yes make sure you xpipe it or hpipe it. go with 2.5 or 2.25. as long as you do 2 mufflers it will sound good. I had about the same setup but with a dual in dual out magnaflow and xpipe. it was ok, I did not like the muffler. now I have 3" ory and a 22" 5x11 case magnaflow and no cats, and it is quiet...very....quiet. ran thetips out the side in front of the rear tire. like this
