running my true duals with lt pacesetters

Default running my true duals with lt pacesetters

i'm going to be using 2 flowmaster 40 series off my lt pacesetters.. i want to dump them by the rearend.... do you have to run the pipes side by side down the pass. side or do you run them one down the drivers side and one down the pass side?? i have a 02 extened cab 5.3 2wd thanks

you have to run 2 on the passenger side because the gas tank is on the drivers side..btw i used to have exsactly what your doing with your exhaust..it will sound damn good

just buy a fuel cell i want mine to come out in front of the rear tires so so bad thats why im going all out lol

IMO if you don't have the exhaust volume to support a larger exhaust system it will actually hurt your engine... One of the purposes of exhaust is to evacuate HOT exhaust gasses (Scavenging)... An efficient exhaust system does this buy actually sucking the exhaust gasses out of the combustion chamber.... If your running an ineffiecient exhaust system, such as 3.0 duals on a stock 4.8, the exhaust gases will not be evacuated from the chamber, which in turn builds up heat, which the increasing heat will cause KR.... IMO this is the main reason why some people can not run that much timing is because they are running a bad exhaust setup....

I see, now I running a true 3" dual set up on a LQ9 with 11.1 compression and a 230/236/.591/.601 110lsa cam and stage 2 patriot heads do you think my exhaust is over kill?
