Hot Rod magazine did a test a while back with a centrifugal, roots and turbo on a ford 302. Boost was 7psi, if I remember correctly. Guess which was better overall?

Little hint. It goes "woosh"
I remember that test...it was probably the most fair head-to-head test I've seen in print yet

It's been shown over and over and over again in tests using 5.0's that a properly sized turbo will out-power any other kind of forced induction

My question is this... what kinda low end torque can you get from a kit like the livernois, detroit/speedworks... just as they come on a 5.3, no bigger turbos or wastegate springs or anything like that... I definately like the kit (especially after that EXT did a 12.88) but I know I will be doing a lot of street racing, and very little to no towing...

I think pro mods are about to start being aloud to run turbos. So i guess will see......

Nirtous whoops up on everyone in the IHRA right now anyway.

Between the radix and the turbo, which is more reliable, easier to keep running, easier to repair, has better daily drivability. I've read the install instructions for the radix and looks like something I can do in my driveway. I can't find install instructions for the Livernois turbo, but, other turbo instructions I have seen show tapping oil lines and that worries me to do myself.
Anyone have the install instruction for the turbo they can forward to me?
BTW. I got a good deal(Yukons front/rear) from a friend for some 4.56 gears and I have 33" tires. Anyone have any thoughs on if this is to steep?
