You don't have to tap the pan with the Livernois Kit, the turbo gets oil from a fitting in the engine block, which is supplied with the kit.

Can you or can you not get a turbo kit that will safely produce the same or better track times than a radix for 5g's? With enough money, almost anythings possible. Most of us can barely put up the 5 grand so. Also, is anyone willing to say that sts, procharger,or livernoise will be as user friendly and dependable as a radix? I want to know because i must go F I soon!!!

And the STS taps in at the oil pump block off plate.

Actually I think I had question marks after my comment.

There is tremendous parasitic loss from a Turbo.

I was just seeing if you were paying attention. But how is there a tremendous parasitic loss from a Turbo?

I was paying attention......I just dont want this thread to turn into a pissing match....there is some good info in here.

Where do you think the back pressure goes? Back pressure translates to gas pressure that is pushing back on the piston. It is kind of like crushing your exhaust pipe and driving down the road....the engine will see it as a load (parasitic loss).

Not to toot my own horn here, but the Radix only uses 1/3 of one hp at crusing speed......I am 100% sure there is not a Turbo system out there that can claim that.

I agree on the no pissing match. and alot of good info here. I just don't agree on the "tremendous parasitic load" as stated, I think as far as stock kits that the Radix and Turbo kits are about equal.
