The only way to decide which is the best is to that the same exact engine in the same exact car, with the same driver and conditions and see which one preforms better.
So we should get a engine company to build a 6.0 with 8.8:1 CR. Then let magna charger put a radix on it and runit. Then break it down check it and let a turbo company take a crack at it. Any sponsors want in on this??????

After reading the link below I don't see how there is any more power to be made be it turbo, blower or magic pixie dust from a 500CI motor. See Link.... Fun read anyway, probably many have seen it before, it's been around.

Top Fuel Dragster

"With 3000 CFM of air being rammed in by the supercharger on overdrive, the fuel mixture is compressed into a near-solid form before ignition. Cylinders run on the verge of hydraulic lock at full throttle."

Seems to me that all that's left to be had is the 800HP of parasitic blower loss, but I would think turbos that make that kind of pressure would have some sort of drawback too.

Turbos have the ability to split atoms in a controlled state. You just have to have good tuning to keep things safe..

I was watching the Science Channel and it was showing proof that Turbos rode in on the trailing edges of icy comets and thus are from outer space and not man made. Except the STS turbo which as we know is just a bastard hybrid of man origin..

Wow, cool! Did the Egyptians or Myans have them? Something had to help them make those Pyramids and temples. With the improved efficiency of a Turbo, I heard the great pyramid was built by 4 guys in 10 days. A smaller pyramid with the use of a supercharger took 6 guys 12 days, but they were union city workers.

LMAO!!!

The smaller Pyramid was built very fast in the beginning but they lost steam near the 10th day so my guess is it was a Radix.

And isn't that supercharger, basically the compressor housing from a turbocharger.

Hot Rod magazine did a test a while back with a centrifugal, roots and turbo on a ford 302. Boost was 7psi, if I remember correctly. Guess which was better overall?

Little hint. It goes "woosh"
