Radix on..... First impressions
#21
Well i have watched this post, for a few days with great intrest. My next mod will be a radix, and i do have a avalanche.I can roll the tires from a stop,so much so i have to launch in 4hi,with just the mods in my sig.Now i did have allen remove 80%of torque manangment.I wanted my tranny to die a horrible death but 4k miles later and it dont miss a beat.
My best freind is service manger at the chev dealership where i bought the truck so he will let anything slide

gearhead ... with those heavy 20's I'm not to surprised you can't spin them, especially considering the Av has the 4 link suspension (I didn't know that). If it were me I would get a shift kit, you should get one anyways, and have SOME of the TqM removed. I really think you would be happier with it that way. At least maybe get the Abuse modes reduced. That will help a lot.

I agree with Mtn and Brian, the best investment I've made is being very cordial with my service department. Single malt scotch, cigars, gift certificates are a small investment to keep my mods under warranty. If your not looking to replace your TC, then I would recommend a smaller pulley. I was suprised by the performance of 2 lbs of extra boost. FYI, I have a 5600 lb yukon denali riding on 22's with 305/40 Toyo's. It's AWD and I can "lay patch" no prob.
