questions about Procharging my 5.3L?
#12
$5K for the Radix, then another $2K when you 4L60E grenades in short order.
As long as you don't have a big truck, like Ext cab 4x4 or something .. you should be fine with a good shift kit and bigger servos.
By the time you get everything your gonna want/need with the ATI, you will have already spent around 4500-5000 on it. ATI kit is 3k, EDIT and ATAP, is about another k, injectors, another 500-700. I'm sure I'm leaving something out. Maybe Procharged LM7 will chime in .. I know he's beenthrough a lot.
EDIT:
Forgot to add .. the warranty on the RADIX is 3yrs/36,000 miles on the supercharger and componants itself. If installed by an ASE cert. mechanic, you can purchase the warranty through them to cover the engine and the drivetrain (tranny only) for 200 bucks which covers for 3 yrs/36,000 miles after a preliminary 1500 miles. They aren't as hard up about it as a dealership would be too. Which means you can do intakes, exhaust, headers, blah blha blah. You CAN'T change pulleys, or reprogram and still have your warranty, that's about all that will void your blower warranty.
I found out all the details before I did it, then I ended up installing it myself anyways. I wish I was ASE certified ...
