would a procharger from like a ls1 camaro fit a 05 silverado 5.3L? if so what would i have to do?

 

It will not work unless you change your accessory brackets to the camaro style.. the F body procharger is a reverse rotation setup the standard truck kits like the one I have mount the blower on the upper left and use a conventional drive.

 

so if i were to get some custom brackets made for the truck then it should work?

 

Yeah but honestly its not worth it.. you would just be better off selling it and getting a truck kit they are not that expensive if you can get some good cash out of the f body kit.

I wouldn't bother with custom when they actually make brackets that fit the truck.. there is a reason each vehicle has its own kit.. there really is no need for custom.

 

damn cause i was really hoping to get this procharger cause someone was gonna sell it at a good price and they said it was a universal one cause it would fit any ls1 type engine as long as u do the brackets
