Default Predator settings for timing and fuel?

I drove home from work tonight using the live data mode on the Predator and was rally only looking at the fuel trim and KR. I had ZERO KR at all times, zero to WOT. I was thinking I should advance the timing 1% at a time until I see some + readings on the KR then back it off, is that right? With the fuel trim readings, they were fluctuating from like +4% to -4% depending on load and speed but all zeroed out at WOT, how should that be set? I'm not even sure I want to mess with that. The KR I'm pretty sure I understand, I want zero KR at WOT, and pretty much no KR at any time right? Any help would be aprreciated!

yay buddy you got it.my long term fuel trims were +3.69 to +5.69 while cruising.way to high.they say they want a neg to zero reading on fuel.james said that +1.56 is great.000000000000 at wot.on the spark. i turned mine up .2% at a time..6% i got some kr so i set it at .5%.it made a big difference.good luck.oh i checked my fuel trims lt while cruising at 70.

Hey 02, thanks for the reply! I raised my spark by 1%, you're saying you only have yours raised .5% (1/2 of a percent)? I'll check mine on the way home from work again tonight and see if I get some KR. So, are my fuel trims OK ranging from +4% to -4% depending on load and speed or should I lean it out some to lower the + readings I'm getting?

well from what james says it should be no more than 1.56% while cruising..78% is great.i thought timing went up as .1 .2 or .3. it might be 1 2 or 3 %. i had mine set at 5%. i had my fuel turned up at first.but i set it in neg and was still running rich.still waiting patiantly for my custom tune.

Y2K, I'll look again tonight to see what my settings are and send them to you. try them out and see what you get in on LTRMS and KR. I think it will pretty much max you out before you see positive at WOT. Trust me, you'll enjoy it.

Cool, thanks! I checked my KR tonight with a 1.0% spark setting and I had ZERO KR at wot, or any time for that matter. I raised it to 1.3% and checked at again and saw a .3% KR two times while crusing but none at WOT. I want NO KR at any time right? I set the spark down to 1.2%. Now with the fuel trim, I did check them on the freeway doing 70 mph and they were still fluctuating from +4% to -4% even crusing steady at about 70 mph. How are you suppose to adjust them if they won't stay steady. I'm definitly in the + more than I'm in the - so I think I need to lean (go - on the power enrichment) it out some. Is that right? Again, any help would be apreciated and thanks for the help you've already give me.
O2Denali! You're right, the spark settings do go in .1 (tenths) increments, I have mine at 1.2% right now.

Well all this talk got me to go look at my settings. At cruse my ltrims are steady between +2 and +3. I'm running +2 on the spark and +5 on the power enrichment. I don't have the knock sensor dectection on my predator. I have one of the first ones. I think that I'm going to lean it out a little.

Never got a chance to check my settings but I will as soon as i get home. the LTRMS need to really be taken at WOT after about 30 mins of driving or so i have been told. Mine fluctuate as well during normal cruising. When i floor it, they stay at zero or a little neg. My KR has went to positive just a little bit while normal driving as well but at WOT they stay at 0. Bare with me and i'll get you my settings soon. (wife had other plans last night) lol.
