I wouldnt worry about tranny damage even with the predator's deletion of torque management. Just use common sense when driving the truck and you should have no problems.

So it does delete TQM . I'm wondering how's the scanning part of it? Would I still want to get a live scanning tool? What does the scanning really tell you on the predator.

For those of you that have the predator and have deleted your TQM what all do you have done to your trans, as far as to strengthen it? I would think that a stock trans wouldnt stand it too long , so what would I need to do to it to make it last.
The scanning part you refer to gives you basically the data list and trouble code reading and deleting (for any OBD II vehicle) you would get from a vetronix mastertech minus a couple of non performance parts of the data stream. They say its similar to a tech 2, not really the tech 2 and mastertech are good cause they can do active tests (turn fans on and off, run evap VSVs etc) and they can do a "movie" all these people wanting to monitor a part of the data list can be done mastertech and monitor KR for 30seconds instead of having to concentrate on the scanner and road at the same time. Then refer back.
I havn't done anything to my trans for the deletion of TM, quickening up the shifts is actually good for the trans. But if you whale on it all the time and chirp em on your 1-2 all the time if done one after the other you going to get alot of slippage and thats ruins your apply devices (bands and clutchs)
