Default Predator Problems?

First off, I'm not bad mouthing Predator. But I wonder if any of you had any suggestions.

My truck was running great with the Hyp so I went and screwed it up!
My truck with the hyp 3 (that I have had for 3 years) has run 14.02 @96 consistent this season so far. Well I programmned back to stock and let the computer run a little and I managed to average 14.47. Not bad.
To get to the point I purchased a Predator. Due to its convience and scanning capability. No one around here has ls1 tuning and I'm not ready for Edit.
I'm not going to post my times but the only thing I have changed since the last time I ran was the Predator tune and about 5 more gallons of fuel. My times were horrible. The truck felt like I was towing something down the track, My MPH was 82! It was pathetic.
I have a built tranny and Yank torque thruster 3000 3.0 stall. When I launched with the predator it felt like I had the stock stall back in! Took the predator off and the truck was back to normal-Better.
I didn't screw with timming or airfuel, just the basic tune with raised shift points and correct tire size.
Any ideas? Something is really screwy about this and I don't want to bad mouth Predator.

Just driving around monitoring stock tuning I was getting some Kr at wot and the ect was 177 and IAT was 73. I havn't monitored the predator program yet but I'm not gonna give up on this thing.

Do you have cam or head work. I remember I guy on this board, I think red2k1 had problems with the predator and his cam. BUT he then had diablo make a custom tune for him and he had no more problems.

You most definitely need some type of custom tune. I would talk to the guys you bought it from and/or diablo and see what they can do for you, as far as a custom tune goes.

Did you give it time to learn things out? It took mine about 3-4 days of driving to come around for me. It started out the same way, it felt like I had to mash on it more for it to go.
I'd just put it back in and give it a few days and see how it acts then go from there.

Just bolt ons, no internal work.
KN kit, stock maf, stock tb w/bypass, AZ headers, No cats w/simms, BB triflo, Yank tt 3000, 3.0 built tranny, 3.73 g8o stock, ASP crank pulley, Fan, Magnacore w/ NGK. 180stat and aluminum shaft.
It had already been a few days with varied driving. I have come to the conclusion it will not let the yank do its job and it ingages at 12-1500, How is this possible?

Just some numbers with 93octane
ect-177-180, IAT-73,
ltft- varies but it goes from 0.0-2.5-5.0
Stock pcm- 2-3KR, above 4000 at wot
HYp tune- just before shift point 5800 see kr, 2
Predator- a solid 8.00 KR from the get go at wot.

Before I start friggin with things I would like to get the stock tune from predator closer to what I need because right now it is running like Sh*t. I have no way of checking air fuel as of right now.
