I got up a little over 24 rwhp with one and got mine for $350. They usually go for around 400. I havent hit the dyno since i got my custom program. Johan at Diablosport is a great help if you need anything. I screwed up this week and i sent it to him and the fixed it asap. The also raised the rpms up to 6500 and Got rid of my KR

Predator has been the best performing mod i've done so far, made the most improvement in driveability and you notice it from the turn of key unlike HPP. Plus people like Red2k have had custom programs made for their aftermarket camshafts. www.tbyrne.com sells predators for the best deal.

Go with the predator, that is depending on how crazy you intend to get with mods. I love my predator. So far the best mod yet on my truck .

The deletion of torque management alone was worth the price.

So it does delete TQM . I'm wondering how's the scanning part of it? Would I still want to get a live scanning tool? What does the scanning really tell you on the predator.

For those of you that have the predator and have deleted your TQM what all do you have done to your trans, as far as to strengthen it? I would think that a stock trans wouldnt stand it too long , so what would I need to do to it to make it last.

I just got mine last week and I love this thing. I was worried the first day cause the truck was sluggish like the factory tune was, but after about three days WOW! I can just pat the gas at a redlight and bark the tires. Then other day it even barked em when it kicked down doing almost thirty mph. I really didn't know what I was missing until I felt this thing shift without torque management. instead of the slight pause then jurk when the next gear hits it just surges forward during the shift. And that's just setting the shifts quicker and leaving the shift pressure alone.

Pope, It reads the vital sensors such as iat, maf, map, tps, strims, ltrims, engine load,02's,injector pulse width, and a couple that I can't remember. It's pretty useful info. Although if I hook the atap to it I can see fuel tank level, oil life remaining, and a lot more nit picking stuff I could care less about.

I've also been watching and comparing before and after trans temps and found them the same if not a little cooler with out t/m on board so I'm not very worried about that. Ofcoarse I'm not shooting naws into it either. That might be a different story.

Do you have to run 91 octane with the predator? also did you guys all install a lower thermostat? I'm thinking about getting the predator for my 6.0 2500HD Reg. Cab.

I am running my truck on 87 with the predator, 0 knock retard at WOT. Best mod so far it feels stronger through the entire rpm range.

I'm sure you could run 87 but for the small price I just run 93, even tried 76 unleaded 100 but fuel doesn't give you extra hp. I didn't change the thermostat, I will if I put a cam in this fall, the thermostat is pretty much fool proof and if you bleed the cooling system theirs no probs.
Predator was the best mod i've done for this truck.

I got a 160° thermostat free along with free overnight air shipping with the Predator, but I'm running a 180° one on it and it stays around 185-195. I had been running Amoco 93 with the hpp3 and just kept running it with the Predator.
