I Have A Question About My Power Steering Pump.the Pump Has Fluid In It.the Level Is Good.i Even Drained It Out And Added New One.sometimes The Pump Works Good And Sometimes It Starts Making That Annoying Noise.speacially After A Lil Race Or I Step On The Gas Roughly.after That The Pump Won't Stop Making The Noise.i Can Let It Sit And The Next Day It Will Work Fine.my Point Is It Is Off And On.has Anybody Had This Problem? And Is Their A Way I Can Fix The Pump Without Buyin A New One.or Should I Just Buy A Another One?

 

It is hard to tell for sure you have the same noise but it sounds very similar. I ended up changing the pump today to get rid of the noise and the problem went away. I real disappointment is the fact that the pump I just swapped out only had about 300 miles on it.

 

Man That Sucks.the Pump On My Truck Is The Original And Only Has 43k On It .i Just Don't Understand Why It Started Doin That If I Don't Mistreat The Truck At All.i Can Hear The Noise A Lot When I Take The Cap Off.just Hate That I Have To Spend Money On That Instead On Somethng Performance Wise On The Truck.
