PCV working??!?
#1
I have my valve covers switched from each side as per whipple's instructions. The PCV valve is now on the passengerside. And the line is connected to the intake tube now, not the intake manifold as it was stock. I put a catch can on this line, and nothing has come through it. I even cut a piece of the line open to see if there would be liquid or somthing in it but it was bone dry. Is this normal? I thought i was supposed to get some crap to come through there? Should i hook it back to the vaccum port on the intake?? What will happen to my motor if the pcv doesn't work right?

Nate - The way it's hooked up now it is still working.
I'm not sure why it's not pulling any oil through it now that the covers are switched but, it could be because the PCV valve is now at the front of the engine. There may be less oil getting into it since under acceleration the oil is moving towards the back of the valve covers. That's just a guess though.
As long as a vacuum is being pulled on the line your PCV is working fine though. When you wind that whipple up it should really ventilate the crankcase.
If you connected the line back to the intake manifold like it was stock the PCV would not work when you were in boost which is not a good thing. Leave it hooked up like whipple says in the instructions.
