Default PCV question (boost related)

The whipple has you attach the pcv tube to the intake tube rather than the port on the intake... would it be better to get a check valve and hook the pcv tube back to the port on the intake, or leave it on the intake tube like whipple has it?

I'd get a catch can and put it inline with the Whipple setup.

Both my Whipples have the PCV hooked to the port on the manifold. I am not sure how yours is, it must be a newer kit. It works fine hooked straight to the manifold. I leave the vent hose on the D/S valve cover open and cap off the vent tube on the throttle body.

Yea i have the newer kit. Does boost force air into the heads ? and whats your reasoning for leaving the d/s valve cover open and capping hte throttle body?

I ran it back to the intake instead of the intake tube and started hearing a loud squealfrom the bottom of the motor. This is were it realy f^^ked with my head if you pulled the dipstick out the squealing would stop put the dipstick back in it would start again. Finally found out it was trying to pull double the vacum and the only place it could get air was pull it thru the rear main seal. A dry rear main seal wouldnt take long to screw some **** up. I ran it to the intake tube like thy say to.

Yea, it wasn't effecting my boost i was just wondering what the best setup would be... cause i think the STS has it go back to the intake with a check valve? anyway, i think i will leave it attached to the intake, but i am going to get one of those ASM catch cans inline. My other question tho is what is that other line that is not a pcv valve, but does attach to the valvue cover and the TB... what is that line?
