good lord, if it will hold 700rwhp sustainably then i would just buy a stock one, throw a converter, shift kit and servo(does 80 need them) in there and go to town.

 

Mine has a shift kit, high performance clutches and increased line pressure.I'm waiting for speartech to reprogram my PCM,John had to make some new files to make my throttle by wire setup and supercharger tunimg work with the 4L80E.

 

whitt, did you put in the shift kit? i just got mine and was going to do it myself but the instructions SUCK, i think i might just pay someone now.

 

No,I had the transmission built by BTE racing.They insisted I see the transmission dynoed,it was kind a neat.They also did my converter I figured that if I had any problems,having just one builder involved would simplify things.It's a TCI shift kit.
