I dono. We have a BUTTLOAD of supercharger available. Some of the better supercharger desings are truck only like the Radix and Whipple. And Kenny Bell is working on a intercooled twin screw for the GM trucks. The iorn truck block is stronger then the alluminum and the iorn block can be punched out bigger.

But your right this site is LS1tech.com not LQ4tech.com

It's #157 of 500 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Indy Pace Trucks. I finally convinced him to ditch his 360 Small block and go for the Gold.

That is a 454 blown Chevy (yes Chevy) BB, w/ littlefield 6-71 teflon-tipped blower going through a th-400 w/gearvenders over drive unit. I'll post some more pics.

Here's more. I have 2 outside pics, but they are 2 big. If someone could size them down that would be great. Awesome looking truck. Gets comments all the time about how awesome it looks. My '99 Z28 looks really plain next to it.

Blowers sticking out of the hood tend to get that reaction

That's a little overkill for what I need. That's insane actually, the new Ram is heavier then your buddies ram.My raceweight is 4750+.There aren't 2 many mods out for the Hemi yet,and all bolt-ons combined, even headers, will give the Hemi a total of 15hp increase "average" on the dyno. The only thing that is positive about my truck is from clipping one wire(tcm) pulling the swaybar, air filter,no power adder, just my flowmaster and removed cat,it wen't several 9.0's@78mph in the 1/8th mile. That would around a 14.0@97 in the 1/4.For around $500(price of my NX kit),it went 13.1@104 only a 100 shot setting. With my jets now and a set of ET streets-it will put down a solid mid 12.I still pull my 20' bassboat and it is my daily driver.

Trucks are so versatile. Why would you not have a truck now days?

*Just remembering back on the threads about why race a truck and blah blah from the car guys.

I know what you mean about using your truck. Please be careful with the spray. My buddy went through 4 trans in about 9 months and said f^ck it, and went to a 727. He was using the compucar kit that I now have. For everthing that Dodge does right, their trans are for ****.

We did alot of mods to the truck and finnally went this way because of the limits of the old 360 and trans combo. He even bought a new 360 Crate motor and carb to get past the limits of the computer. M1 everthing and it only went 13.3 motor and 12.1 spray. The Hemi is definitly a better motor in ways the old 360 could never be, but it seems that Mopar really limits you on what can be done until you can get past the computer issue. Headers are a pain in the *** for the miniscule gains they produce on the Dodge chassis.

shoulda built a r-block 408.......i knows it's so tempting to just say screw it and drop a chevy into everything though......i thought about for about .3 seconds on the buick.........the 408 coulda got you low 12's on motor easy......
