Default Oh no,another Hemi owner

Well, let me start by saying this is one bad azz site!Lots of tech, lots of fast trucks.I obviously own a Dodge,it's an 03 RC 1500,a few bolt-ons(that barely help)and a little bit of Dope.I haven't quite figured out how to post pics over here,so I will give it a try or two.I am from the Dallas area, and would like to get a few more trucks to meet up and have some racing/R&D at our local drag strips, but also would like to respond to a few posts and also get some ideas from any of you guys who know how to make things go fast.I hope I don't get beat up too bad over here for having a Hemi, but to me a truck is a truck, and if it's a sleeper, that's even better. The last picture I posted here is of the new Hemi engine comming soon for the SRT-8 models(I wish I had it)

Try uploading the pic to the post ... I think there's a place to attatch them in a new post form.

Welcome to the site! Glad to see you over here. Honestly, I think this site is a lot better layout than DTW and much better tech info. DTW is a good place to shoot the **** though and get a good laugh sometimes.

Welcome to the site neighbor. I live just south of you in Forney. There is a Harley owner in Heath that posts on here some (custom license plate FUZION). I think I also remember someone from Royce City here in the truck section too.

No more Texas motorplex events this year? The online calandar is empty.

How is your truck a sleeper with all those racing stripes and red Hemi emblems? Either way, looks like a good running truck. I'd definitely have to pull out the car to run with you. I'm from Dallas area as well.

Also, what is the deal with the 6.1L covers in the engine bay? What sort of shot were you running on that 13 second slip?

Welcome aboard.

It's still a sleeper because it as a truck,$18k brand new, they aren't known for being fast(unless you watch all the Hemi comercials ),basically, you can do this to any base model ST just like mine. They are lighter then the loaded models with the 20's,as you can see, mine has 17's-$500 for a nitrous kit,and get some street ET's,and you have a 12 sec truck for cheap. We have had to figure out the jets from NX(way to rich from their book)and came up w/a combo that works fine, the jet size I use now gives my truck +144hp and +230tq,that would be around a true 150 shot at 950-980psi from the bottle.
