Well I saw in truckin that Procharger came out with a kit. I was just curious if anyone had any substantiated numbers as to what they were putting down. Any probs and how they got around the tuning probs.

Please in no way take this as HEMI-bashing.......It's more of a confusion thing

With basic bolt-ons you put down 282/313 ??......and the motor is rated stock at 345/375 stock ??....it seems to me that you're experiencing some REALLY HIGH drivetrain losses !!!

From what Ive see most of the HEMI's are over rated at 345. From what Ive see most are putting down somewhere in the mid 200's. The big problem with the Dodge/HEMI is the pcm is not very tuner frienly. One reason for this is so mopar perfomace can sell its own pcm ($$) that is more tuner friendly, like they do for the Neon.

I hate to say it but I really like the Dodges. I think GM is starting to fall behind in the truck game. SRT-8 should be a good Lightning fighter (performance and price). I wish GM would make a 6.0HO reg cab

Yep, DC or Daimler-Chrysler really drops some power in the tranny and tuning. Kenne Bell did engine dyno the thing and got the around the factory numbers 340/370 but the whole computer mess and non-MAF ( speed density dangit ) kills any attempt to change in performance parts and have them "learn" the new equipment. It's been the bane of our aftermarket existance to date. The torque management delete alone was worth 3 tenths of improvement in the 1/4. That tell ya how conservative the tuning is and why we keep trannys in place?!?
Quick's dyno numbers are very typical. We also have A5 trannys ( no manual on 1500 Hemi ) that don't like to dyno very well.
Last, welcome to the site Quick03! See ya on the flip side.

Thanks for the welcome guys,GreenTahoe, there is no supercharger available for the hemi yet(computer),Kennebell gave up on the 03 hemi(after they lied about the 500+hp they alleged the orange truck made)they suck, and yes, there is driveline loss somewhere,I was actually pretty pissed when I first dyno'd the truck and went 14.8s@91 when I first got it.Whoever ownes a Hemi truck has had the same experience with trying mods/bolt-ons.All my mods:intake, exhuast, remove cat,TCM wire clip, gave me 9hp gain and actually a loss for tq.I just gave up and decided to spray it.I did manage to get my truck down to 14.2@95mph last spring(all motor),maybe it would help if I swap out my 3.55's for 4.10's.I figure maybe if I come over to this site,I can take some ideas from you guys and try them out on mine. There are very few of us Hemi owners trying hard to find out what works-hopefully I can figure something that can add hp-and for the guys that think GM is dropping the ball,at least y'all can make your trucks faster, money is the only limit you have,be greatful.

Wouldnt be the first time the magazines spread a little mistruth. The truck is in the Oct 2004 issue of truckin. It will be interesting to see what the next year brings. If someone cracks the code, those Hemi's are going to be pretty dangerous. The new SSR is going to carry the LS2 with 390/400 and a 4L65.
