You should have got a harness to match the motor and then found a P59 computer with IAC drivers in it to then make that P59 DBW computer into a cable computer. There is a small write up on here for what wires need to added for the cable swap.

I wouldn't cut the connector to make it fit, more than likely the wiring from 2003 is not the same for 2000 which your harness is from. The wires in your harness may not control the same things on each pin as the 2003 fuse block.

Besides for cruise control working, it is much easier to change the pedal and tac module. I still have not even looked at the cruise control wiring. I too wanted cable but ended up dbw.

Well van likely means a chevy or gmc van and OS means operating system.

You didn't quote where you found this so this is my best guess.

Finished the swap on my 2003 ECSB installed the dbw tac and pedal it starts and runs but i have no guages and the pedal does move the throttle body. when i turn the key to just fuel pump everything turns on in the instrument panel but as soon as i crank it all guages shut off.any idea what this could be i have not performed the passkey re learn or crankshaft re learn.
