Well I don't know because I replaced the oil pump and o-ring. We took the oil pump apart just for ***** and giggles and everything looked damn near brand new. It's basically only like 4 parts the housing, spring, screw and valve

I installed the oil pump and the o ring. We didnt have a new oring on hand so we used the stocker. When i did my tchain swap, i totally shredded the o ring and still had 20lbs at idle. I have never heard of zero oil pressure. I would lean towards the pump being defective or something stoping that little piston (Cody brought this point up) within the pump itself. I heard something about there being two different sized o rings. The pump he is using is a ported ls6 oil pump and i dont know whether it uses a different o ring or not. Ummmmmmmmmmm Im lost!

Changed the pump and the 0-ring. Don't know which was bad. I know the o-ring was at least part of the problem, but I was tired of tearing this thing apart. I am happy now, Thanks for the replies.
