Default No oil pressure

I did heads/cam swap with LS6 oil pump. I have nothing. I let it run for a few seconds. Going to pull the valve covers to see if oil is getting up there. If not then we will check the O-ring. I used the original 5.3 o-ring. Is there a difference between it and the LS6 o-ring? Anyone have any other ideas?
Maybe oil pressure sending unit?

Unless you dropped or banged the sending unit it should be bad. Deffinatly check take the valve cover off and check. Usually if the o-ring is tore or something it will have oil pressure but will be very low.

It is possible to get a bad oil pump. I think it was randomhero on here that had simular issues with his cam swap. Maybe PM him or he will chime in with some insight.

Yup I did have a problem with the oil pump failing.

Make sure your o-ring is installed correctly!!! I didn't touch the oil pump when I did my cam install, but it failed when we put everything back together. When we took the oil pump and oring off the oring was sqare and about half the size(thickness) of the new oring.

I pulled the cover off the oil pump, the o-ring looked good, but I will replace it. It's only a dollar. I am going to check and see if the pick-up tube is on the bottom of the pan.

yup the one I went and got had cheap red paint on top of it. Once you get the red paint off of it the oring is a dark orange.
I haven't had a problem since(knocks wood).
