Hey All,
I am trying to gauge where this package sets and have nothing to compare it to. Hopefully y'all will shed some light on this for me.
We just finished and tuned a 2004 C1500 (2WD) Silverado (non-HD) A4 with 3.73's and a 6.0L engine. It has the base P1SC kit (7psi) with the larger intercooler. Mildly ported LQ9 heads, NLP Stage 2 blower cam (low 220 int dur, high 220 ex dur on a 115), short headers, customer fabbed (non-mandrel) OR pipes and stock muffler. This also has a TCI 32-3500 stall converter and all runs were unlocked. Almost forgot it had 20" wheels on it
We enede up with an A/F ratio of 11.8-12.0 to 1, 18* timing and she made right at 400RWHP (pretty much flat from the hit of the throttle to 6400RPM) and 480ishRWT. We uncapped his cutouts and she made 438RWHP, but lost the torque reading. If I had to guess I would think it would have been at 520ishRWT or so, but that is just a thought. We hit the throttle at approx 3200, so a better torque number could have been had if we played a bit at 2500RPM start. We tried to lock the converter but she would not hold.
Considering we did not have a baseline run to go off of, i thought it was not too bad. I compared it to my old 2002 HD2500 2WD that had the 6.0, A4 and 3.73's which put down 235RWHP or so.
We plan on adding a set of Dynatech Supermaxx headers w/ high flow cats and a Magnaflow exhaust as well as a vigilante 3 disc converter to see what we can get out of her in the future.
Let me know what y'all think and what other comparisons there may be. The customer is happy that he is within reach of doubling the base RWHP of my truck with a few changes. A lot of fun to drive and the Baer brakes stop her very well. Thanks in advance.

My truck (5.3) with the D1 at 10 psi with the junk base intercooler and just a cat back made 380 rwhp. I added a much bigger intercooler, e-fans, and hade the tune readjusted but never had it re-dynoed. Im sure it would have made over 400. For the blower you are using and the boost, it sounds like a good number to me.

Thats very impressive with just 7 PSI and a bent up exhaust. I think the dynatech and more boost could make some pretty crazy power! I would think that the P1SC would be good for at least 10#

Hey All,
Thanks for the kind words and info for sure. The customer wants to keep her at 7psi as it is his comfort zone for now. he does not mind having to build a purpose built motor if need be, but wants to safely play for now.
The add-on of longtubes and a good exhaust would benefit for sure and we will play that option soon. I know all about the P1SC's potential though it is a smaller head unit. We built a 2004 Z06 that was pushing 10-11psi of boost and made 606RWHP and 517RWT through stock exhaust manifolds, stock cats and stock titanium exhaust. We did have a small blower cam (21x in, 22x ex duration 115LSA), but also stock compression with stock heads. We did install forged pistons and rods and built a solid bottom end.
Thanks again.

Hey you can see mods in my list. I made 423 rwhp / 425 rwtq on a stock motor. I'm lookin into a better tune the guy that did mine was not that experienced. But those look like good numbers though. Headers/Mags will for sure get you probably to 450 rwhp.
