Default New times with dry nitrous finally!

Well I think today was the last day for our local track, and with the weather being in the 50's I figured I'd make the trip. I got there kinda late and only got 3 runs. First on the motor, only went 14.68, which was a full tenth off my best ever. The next run on the bottle I spun real bad, lifted, got back on it just to see what kinda mph it would run and it was a 15.7 (I lifted for a WHILE)@ 96.6 mph. On the third run I drove it out and just barely squeaked the tires for about the first 10-15ft and it went 13.43@100.6. This was with what I roughly figured to be about a 100 (rwhp) shot. A single fogger nozzle with a 46 jet, as recommended by Nitro Dave's. Here are all of the details:
2.14 60'
8.67 @ 81.1 for the 1/8th
13.43 @ 100.6 for the 1/4

I left the Hypertech programming on the 93 tune and did have about 5 gallons of 98 octane Sunoco GT mixed in with about 5 gallons of 93 octane. Tailgate on!

Great times man, I remember you having some issues with your setup. I'm glad to see you got it worked out.

About how much did you spend on your custom setup, if you don't mind me asking.

Great times. I would be careful of using the hypertech tune with the nitrous though, especially a dry shot. I had a friend w/an f150 and was spraying ~85 shot w/93 hptech tune and it didnt take many shots at all to kill that motor. Of course, with that higher octane mix, its alot safer.

Thanks guys! Vanillagorilla, its hard to say. I bought the bottle and 14' line off Ebay for $135, the solenoid and 18" line going into the air cleaner I had. I bought the jets from Nitro Dave for $35, the fogger nozzle and mount was $20 (ebay again), the bottle rings were $20 (ebay), and then I bought a gauge and fitting for it from jegs for $30 and a recoil cord with button for $40 also from Jeg's. Altogether I spent about $300, since I made that mount out of wood for the bottle and that spent about $10-$15 on stuff at Home Depot for that. The solenoid and line that I had really made me do it in the first place, since I figured that was half of the kit. The recoil button was expensive, but I would have bought that with whatever kit or system that I would have bought anyway. I like having it on the button, since traction is an issue, I didn't want it to come on automatically.
