C1500 SILVERADO WITH A 6.0 LQ9 HIGH OUTPUT WITH 345 H.P. & 385 LBS TOURQE, 3.73 GEARS, 4L80E TRANSMISSION (HELL YEAH!), LOCKING REAR END, SPORT TUNED SUSPENSION, GM 20INCH WHEELS, OH YEAH, IT IS ALSO
A 2WD PLATFORM. DEFINATLY LIGHTER , WHEN I DROVE IT YESTERDAY IT FELT REALLY TIGHT (NEW MOTOR) BUT WATCHING THE SPEEDO CLIMB WAS A BLAST AND IT IS ONLY ABOUT $1800.00 MORE THAN THE 5.3. WE ARE ONLY GETTING A LIMITED AMOUNT, I THINK 6 OR 7, I WILL CALL IT A HEMI HUNTER!

If I would have know this I would have held out for this truck. damn it

 

Are you sure it has a 4L80E?With 3.73s and 20" wheels it would have a 55+mph 1st gear.I think it's more than likely got a 4L65E instead.Can you get a regular cab version?That could be a really fast truck.

 

I came across some RPO codes a while back on the net that had a special higher performance truck to be sold in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana. If someone looks hard enough, I'm sure they can find some information on it, and see if it was something that is actually being produced.

This sounds like the truck that was posted a couple weeks back. It was called something funny though and didn't look anything like an SS.
