need stall help for 4x4
#11
To get a ECSB 4x4 into the 13s solid will require:
Heads
Good sized cam
Long Tubes
No exhaust restrictions
3000+ converter
Intake
Custom tuning
3.73+ gearing and/or short tires
Weight reduction
I had everything except the heads and at a 4900lb raceweight I was only capable of 14.29@96.9mph.. This was in the spring so temps were decent. Dead of winter with a good DA I might have gotten closer to a 14.0 but I doubt by much.

im just grinning thinking how a 3000TT would do in 4x4 offroad
ive got a bunch of friends down here that think their trucks scream(stock fords and dodges lol). This hunting season im gonna call all them fockers out and settle things
I bet no one takes the bait though
found a really good deal on a used TT3000 yank... might have to get that tomorrow LMAO
I searched and most said that stall actaully helped low end towing! Only thing it would be bad for is rock climbing LMAO.
Later on ill probably put 32's or 33's on and a 2-3inch lift so it would come in handy then also down low
